Caring for Your Italian Nappa Leather

Your VerveLush Atelier piece is crafted from genuine Italian Nappa leather — one of the finest leathers in the world. With the right care, it will age beautifully and carry its art for years.

Daily Care

• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the print and leather suppleness.
• Avoid contact with water and humidity. If wet, blot gently with a dry cloth — never rub.
• Keep away from sharp objects and abrasive surfaces.
• Store upright, stuffed lightly with tissue paper to maintain shape when not in use.

Cleaning

• Light marks: wipe gently with a soft dry lint-free cloth.
• Deeper cleaning: use a leather-specific cleaner on a soft cloth — never apply directly to leather.
• Avoid baby wipes, household cleaners, alcohol, or solvents — these damage the print and leather.

The Printed Surface

• The artwork is printed using specialist inks bonded to the leather. Treat it as you would fine art.
• Do not apply leather conditioner directly to printed panels — apply only to unprinted edges and straps.

Storage

• Store in the dust bag or a soft cloth bag when not in use.
• Never store in plastic — leather needs to breathe.
